In Garden Extension
This project was to construct a new garden room extension, linked to the house. The old out-building was run down and useful only for storage, a building less suited to the modern way of life. Removing this made a lot of space at the side of the house.
The house extension was planned to create a large room with doors into the garden, a “garden room”.
Garden Room Construction
This is a brick built extension with a tiled roof, a large window and patio doors into the garden to give the feeling of being near to the garden.
We demolished the existing brick outhouse, then excavated the garden area to construct a new paved and walled patio area. We installed a new drainage system to cater for the new garden room extension and the en-suite facilities.
With the main construction complete, we knocked the kitchen through into the new extension and installed a new en-suite into the garden room extension.
