Our Beginnings

GS Construction UK Limited, owned and run by Gary Scully

Gary Scully formed the company in July 2008, operating as a building contractor in Lancashire and Yorkshire. The initial contract was at the Copper Dragon Brewery where a new £4.5 million expansion programme was underway for a new brew house, bar bistro, conference rooms and a visitor centre. This was completed in December 2008.

Gary Scully has over 24 years experience in the groundworks and construction industry. Projects range from heavy civil engineering contracts such as bridge building, motorway construction, industrial and commercial developments, and housing developments.

Trust plays a big part with contracts we secure. As a building contractor, we have numerous examples of contracts awarded to us, followed by further contracts from the same customer.

Customers allow us to get on with contracts because they trust us. It is our reliability, honesty, quality, knowing what we are doing and being able to operate in a professional manner that demonstrates to  customers our ability to manage the contract on a day to day basis.

As a testament to our credibility, we do a lot of our work close to home with satisfied customers recommending us to their neighbours.

We work as a building contractor around the North West and West Yorkshire areas, primarily working on domestic contracts.

We manage projects for our customers, bringing in reliable trades people to complete the work and assisting with compliance and regulatory requirements.
