The Requirement
Corrosion and damage to the original concrete floor in the industrial unit was making forklift truck and racking access difficult. The floor had become pitted and uneven.
A new concrete floor is required, which must be level, smooth and strong.
Concrete Floor Project
The work required a new floor, covering an area of around 800 square metres in the industrial unit. The new floor was overlaid on top of the original floor.
Although this appears to be a simple job, it did require careful construction to achieve a level and even surface over a large area, suitable for fork lift trucks to operate safely.
