Project Brief
This garden was quite a mess, uneven lawn, lost edges to the grass, lost borders. A simple to maintain patio area was asked for.
Garden Conversion
With this garden landscaping project, we transformed the rear garden into a usable patio area with square paving stones. All soil and grass areas were replaced by flagging and stone gravel borders.
The area was dug out, levelled, back filled with aggregate then flagged. It looks simple, but there was a lot of hard work with this type of project. The flagging must be level, but with sufficient gradient to drain water. After the flags are laid, the gaps between are grouted to form a continuous surface.
