Garden Landscaping with Large Retaining Wall

Customer Requirement

The existing garden had a small flagged area with a steeply sloping lawn to the back of the garden. The lawn area was not a usable space.

This project included garden landscaping, creating a larger and more usable patio area.

Garden Restructure

We removed 140 tons of earth to provide a level area to for the length of the garden area, then dug out around the edge for the wall footings.

Then we poured concrete footings for the wall, then built a strong retaining wall to hold back the land behind the garden, with retaining walls each side.

The new flat area provides a large, level and usable patio area, fully paved throughout.

We did a similar project for a neighbour, so this customer wanted something similar.
