Groundwork Requirement
This groundwork project was to provide a base for a house extension, as groundworks is our specialisation.
In this groundworks project we prepared the concrete foundation and base for a double story house extension.
Concrete Base Construction
We excavated the foundation then disposed of the rubble. The foundation was dug to solid ground, sufficient for the required footings depth.
The concrete foundation was poured to the required depth, and leveled, to support the double storey extension.
We then built walls to the damp proof course, installed insulation and a gas membrane and poured the floor slab.
The whole groundwork process from digging the footings to the laying of the slab was overseen by the local building inspector.
