Tired and steep garden
The garden had a steep slope down from the back fence, with a run down blocked paved area and steps to a flagged patio. The grassed area was not usable as a garden to entertain nor play games.
The family needed a much more usable area, with easy to maintain walls and grass area.
Garden restructure with Retaining wall
We turned a small garden on a steep slope into a much more useful flat area. The height of the ground at the back fence presented a challenge, with a huge amount of force to hold back with a retaining wall.
We dug out the ground, then constructed a high and strong rear retaining wall with side walls added, then the flat area finished off with turf. The rear wall has drain holes to allow water to escape, and is rendered ready for painting.
