Smaller Home Extensions

Kitchen extensions, bathroom extensions, garage conversions, front porches with or without cloakroom are all common single storey house extensions. Constructed in any type of home: detached, terraced, semi-detached, cottage, farm. These smaller extensions are often simpler and involve less in the way of permission to build.

Terraced House Extensions

Terraced houses traditionally have smaller kitchens, with an outbuilding. Removing and extending is a great way to improve your kitchen. We have done a number of kitchen extensions, as in the picture above.

Single Storey Extensions

Single storey extensions provide more space to your home. A common approach is to replace a conservatory with an extension that is more robust, warmer and more usable in the colder months.

Planning permission is not necessary if the extension is within specific size limits, and there are no other specific restrictions.

    Double storey house extensions and garage conversions are popular ways to add space and value. These are larger and will usually require planning permission. The build is likely to be more complex with deeper footings, and changes to the existing roof of the property. In our portfolio pages, we have many examples of double storey extensions.
