Double Storey Extension to Detached Property

More Available Space

A house extension is often a compromise of how to use the available space. This is an excellent example of using the unused driveway to the side of the house to gain much needed interior space.

Double Storey Extension

The unused driveway was used to extend and construct a double storey extension to this detached property.

Downstairs the new kitchen is an open plan area combining the extension and the existing kitchen area. The extension has a utility room at one side

Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite facilities, accessible from the existing landing and stairs. Full plumbing and electrical services were arranged by us during the build.

The pictures show the building phases of this double storey extension: removing the existing driveway, digging the foundations, laying the concrete floor slab, building the walls, roofing the extension to the finished job.
